Conferences, conventions and incentives

Depending always on the number of participants and the conference hall specifications, the different venues for conferences in Mallorca provide an endless array of possibilities that take into account the needs of the conference organisers. The venues range from over 23,000 square metre facilities, including press offices, interpreting booths and meeting rooms; to halls with a capacity of 150 people that are located in culture centres or in hotels overlooking the sea or in Palma city centre.

The staff working at the conference centres and the hotels has a vast experience in catering for conventions and conferences. Some of these venues are accessible for disabled people, with the added bonus of integrating the latest technologies and its excellent connections to the city centre and the airport. Mallorca offers a selection of hotels with vast experience in organising conferences, conventions and incentive trips. The hotels entrust the logistics of the events to a group of travel agencies and companies specializing in event planning. Hotels only collaborate with the companies after they have negotiated the best conditions for their customers. In this respect, we answer all the requests for information made from abroad. In addition, there are a large number of restaurants and catering companies that are in constant development with the aim of offering the best quality and variety to their customers. The restaurants can serve any kind of breakfast or buffet wherever the customer requires. They prepare dishes and tapas and attend to any other requests: marquees, tables, armchairs, sets of tables, glassware and the finest cutlery. All this is combined with the finest and best quality arrangements.

In addition, a new conference centre is being built and is scheduled to open in 2010. It has been designed by the Navarran architect Francisco Mangado. The conference centre will be located at the entrance to Palma overlooking the sea. The design resembles a recumbent fish and the building is adapts perfectly to this Mediterranean city.
