For over a century, Mallorca has aroused the curiosity of such diverse figures as the Archduke Louis Salvator or the pianist Chopin and the writer George Sand, among many other artists and scholars. Due to the natural charms of the island of the calm, millions of visitors currently choose our land to spend their holidays or a longer period.
But visitors are not only attracted by the sun and beach holidays but also by the vast variety of holidays tailored to the interests of each visitor. You can stay in a quiet monastery, enjoy a spa hotel or even indulge in a beauty treatment while on holidays. These are just a few examples of the many options that Mallorca has to offer.
To provide accommodation for such a large number of people, Mallorca offers different types of accommodation ranging from modern, comfortable hotels across all categories and prices, apartments equipped with kitchen that are ideal for stays over a month, rural hotels in the plains for nature lovers, mountain refuges in the beautiful Tramuntana mountains, hotels located in the city centre and, last but not least, hotels near the more than a hundred beaches that are fully equipped for the visitors’ enjoyment. New accommodation has been opened recently in old houses in towns of the interior. Over 60 old or restored country properties are located in the splendid, quiet Mallorcan countryside. Furthermore, due to the concern for environmental protection, some Mallorcan hotels are powered by solar energy. Hotels under renovation are being equipped with bathroom fixtures to limit water usage in order to avoid wastage.
On the other hand, the different kinds of accommodation are showing a greater willingness to make their facilities more accessible. They offer rooms with different solutions according to the guest’s needs. These hotels are located all over Mallorca and can cover different mobility and communication needs that may arise during the holidays. Depending on the hotel, disabled guests have the following options: low-level shower trays, toilets with folding grab bars, hydraulic chair and/or ramp access to the indoor and/or outdoor pool, walk-in spa, wonderful views of the sea, nearby access to the beach with facilities for those with reduced mobility, among other services.

Estoy muy de acuerdo con el artículo y creo que algunos de los puntos que comenta resultan muy interesantes.
En particular, el hecho de que mencione que la oferta turística y hotelera de la isla, goza de una gran variedad: desde alojamientos rurales, pasando por agroturismos, hasta nuestra gran oferta en hoteles de playa.
Por eso, todos deberíamos trabajar para promocionar los puntos fuertos de nuestra oferta turística: desde las entidades públicas, pasando por el sector hotelero y todos los trabajadores del sector turístico en Baleares... pero principalmente todos los hoteles en mallorca, ya sean de ciudad, de costa o rurales deben llevar la iniciativa en promocionarse y mostrar los puntos fuertes que nos diferencian de otros destinos turísticos... ¡y es que mallorca es única!

Estupendo articulo. Totalmente deacuerdo en que Mallorca no solo es sol y playa, aquí hay muchas cosas de gran belleza y que son una visita obligada. Los Hoteles en mallorca como bien comentas son modernos y abarcan una variedad de precios y calidades donde en turista tiene la posibilidad de elegir en base a sus preferencias.

Creo que no solo tienen que potenciarse esta clase de turismo... el turismo rural es un tipo de turismo al alza mucho mas sostenible y respetuoso con el medio ambiente. Fantastico articulo, os felicito.
